SUPER DOPE is a group exhibition featuring emerging and seasoned artists from the Niagara region, artists that represent a non-conventional approach to the visual mediums of paint, digital media and sculpture.

Like the name of the show, there comes a certain attitude, whimsicality and “hipness” to the work. There isn’t much room for landscapes, flowers or still-life, which are the visual equivalents of yawning.

There is an energy, vibrancy and existential provocation that runs through the collective work, one that demands your attention and vigilance, lest you get an uppercut to the sweet spot of your psyche.
